Cagayan de Oro City – Green builder Italpinas Development Corporation recently partnered to support the Executive Order 70, “Whole of the Nation Approach” and in accordance with the “Development Support and Security Plan: Kapayapaan” of the Armed Forces of the Philippines, together with the Philippine Air Force’s Tactical Operations Group-10 (PAF TOG-10) in the inauguration ceremony of the tribal hall or “tulugan” for the Higaonon Indigenous People (IP) in the upland village of Bayanga Lumbia, Cagayan de Oro.

The tribal hall of the Higaonon Indigenous People stands overlooking the Higaonon community in the hinterland barangay of Bayanga, Cagayan de Oro City. The Philippine Air Force’s Technical Operations Group-10 led the construction of the hall as a way of making government services more accessible to tribal communities in the area.

Italpinas has been a consistent ally with PAF TOG-10 in building a better community in Cagayan de  Oro.

Gisselle L. Mantilla, IDC’s HR & Admin Manager, said that the company started its corporate social responsibility projects by helping the IP communities, and the construction of the tribal hall in Pigsag-an last December 2019.
