More than just providing unique, innovative, sustainable and safe real estate products that satisfy and exceed the expectations of investors and clients, Italpinas Development Corporation (IDC) also incorporates the value in reducing environmental impact as we develop in emerging cities nationwide.
Italpinas Development Corporation along with Damiani Property Management & Services Inc. (DPMSI) recently conducted their Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) last November 19, 2020, at Sitio Camarahan, Cagayan de Oro City.
“To be part of a sustainable development in promoting environmental advocacies is not just rewarding but also a testimony that Cagayan de Oro’s progress still goes hand in hand with nature,” Ms. Gisselle Mantilla IDC HR-Admin Manager, said.
IDC planted teak trees, it is botanically known as Tectona grandis Linn and belongs to the family of Lamiaceae. It is a tropical plant distinguished by its tough hardwood, high quality, durability, stability, and strong resistance to harsh weather conditions.
Beyond the green advocacies, IDC has also been actively participating in the fulfillment of the human potential through several Brigada Eskwelas and joining hand-in-hand with the City Social Welfare Development’s (CSWD) activities, namely: the Early Christmas for the benefit of Home for Girls, Christmas with the Residential care for the Elderly and Differently Abled, Weekend with the CSWD Boystown, Weekend with the CSWD Tahanan ng Kabataan, Weekend with the CSWD Home for Street Children.
It is IDC’s pride to be one of the very few companies that conduct CSRs on a monthly basis, as it is also the company’s way of sharing and giving back to the community. “We believe in bringing smiles regularly through our CSR programs. Through these activities, we devote ourselves to reaching out and giving people even from the simplest reasons to smile,” said Clara Marie Elizaga, Director for Branding & Corporate Affairs.
