Dedication. Commitment. Honesty, those are the things that Rosellen Cabalhin lives by. A natural-born entrepreneur, Rosellen always strives for success in every venture she’s in.
“If you can’t enjoy the process leading up to a goal, it probably isn’t worth starting. The time spent enjoying a win is far shorter than the work leading up to it. If reaching the end is your only motivation to keep going, you probably won’t make it very far. So, you have to love what you do and be passionate about. Always” said Ms. Rosellen Cabalhin
Too many people measure how successful they are by how much money they make or the people that they associate with. For Rosellen, true success should be measured by how happy you are and how you help lift people to success.
Know your clients
It’s a common misconception that money is every entrepreneur’s or seller’s metric for success. It’s not, and nor should it be. “I’ve never gone into business to make money,” she added. In her selling career, she makes sure that her clients’ dreams can be made into a reality and to make a positive difference in people’s lives.
Her clients’ trust is her top priority. “You must be honest in presenting your pitch, you must be clear and always listen to your client’s needs, looking into their investment priorities and by then you can be able to present a deal that fits for them,” she explained.
Know your Why, Get to know Purpose
It’s surprising how easy it is to lose sight of the important things in life. Busy schedules and regular routines tend to put the brain on autopilot. If you wish to accomplish goals, we need a driving force, otherwise, nothing would happen.
“Thinking often of your goal, and accepting the idea that it can come true, would increase your motivation and strengthen your desire to achieve it. Thinking and persuading yourself of the importance of what you want to do or achieve, would increase your motivation, strengthen your desire, and make you willing to do whatever it takes to accomplish your goal.” she noted.
She emphasizes thinking and analyzing your goals, and finding out whether you want to achieve it. Asking yourself whether it is worth your effort and time. Making your goal very clear. Writing it down will help you describe it in clear and concise words. The more specific it is, the easier it would be to focus on it and get yourself motivated to accomplish it.
Trusting yourself first.
Start taking small steps toward your goal right now. Don’t wait for the right opportunity and time. Any time is the right time, otherwise, it is just procrastination. Keep hammering into your mind that decisions and plans need to be carried out right now, not in the future. If you want results you need to act now, not at some indefinite time in the far future.
Be Patient
When it comes to making good decisions, patience is your most formidable resource. “Patience is the most important trait in real estate, I do not assume to close a deal in one sitting, knowing my clients and gaining their trust takes time”. Patience is one of those virtues. When we are patient, we stay out of the negative stories that can cloud our judgment. “What-iffing” ourselves with disastrous outcomes is typically human, but also completely destructive to our capacity to make sound decisions.
Be Dedicated, Honest, & Committed.
Achieving our goals is seldom easy. It’s why knowing how to stay motivated is so incredibly important when it comes to getting what we want in the long term.
“Many people think money alone will be enough to motivate them, and whilst that may do so initially, it’s very hard to sustain financial motivation if the work you are doing actually drags. If you do that type of work for long enough you will find that no amount of money is worth swapping parts of your life in activities that aren’t aligned with who you are and what truly is your passion and mission in life.” she emphazed. So first things first, be true to yourself when it comes to setting goals!
And on that note, Rosellen also says that, “One of the biggest challenges in staying motivated and sticking to our goals is in making sure that the goals we have set our ones we really want to attain.” She went on to note, “Sometimes we set goals based on what we think we ‘should’ do. Or we base them on what other people say.” Make sure you’re going after something that you want and that makes you happy — it can make all the difference.
Staying motivated is absolutely within your reach — it’s often just about keeping your end goal in mind and breaking down the larger result into manageable smaller steps. Remember — you can do it! Just be Dedicated, Honest, & Committed.
