AS part of its corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiatives, Italpinas Development Corporation (IDC) through its Primavera Sales Office along with Damiani Property Management and Services Inc. and in participation of City Local Environment and Natural Resources  conducted a tree planting activity at community of Sitio Bacuran, Brgy Pagulungan, Lumbia, Cagayan de Oro last October 30, 2019. 

“City Local Environment and Natural Resources (CLENRO) has been our environmental ally since the beginning of our sustainable efforts and we are looking forward to coordinating with them in our future programs as they have been our biggest supporter in this advocacy,” said Ms. Frances Mae R. Galvez, IDC Brand Manager.

Planting billions of trees across the world is one of the biggest and cheapest ways of eliminating CO2 out of the atmosphere to defeat the climate crisis. As trees grow, they absorb and store the carbon dioxide emissions that are driving global warming. 

IDC has been committed to environmental sustainability, not only through its elegant passive green designs, but also through its commitment to serve its community by making its environment greener. As a designer and developer of buildings, IDC keeps it in mind the value of consuming less in terms of ecological footprint. It’s latest development, Città Bella at Primavera City, this development will continue to contain sustainable features which results to energy saving measures such as passive cooling technology using shadow and sunlight control, wind cooling and shape performance which are green features that trademark of IDC developments.

Due to its commitment to green advocacy, in 2018,  IDC bagged the award for the Best Environmental Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) awarded during the 7th Mindanao Business Leaders and Entrepreneur Awards Cagayan de Oro City.
