More than just providing unique, innovative, sustainable and safe real estate products that satisfy and exceed the expectations of investors and clients, Italpinas Development Corporation (IDC) also incorporates the value in reducing environmental impact as we develop in emerging cities nationwide.

IDC bagged the award for the Best Environmental Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) last October 24, 2018, during the 7th Mindanao Business Leaders and Entrepreneur Awards held at Centrio Mall Events Center, Cagayan de Oro City.      Alan Mediante, Mindanao Daily’s Vice President for Corporate Affairs, said that through hosting the said event “it is the responsibility of media to give due recognition to business leaders & entrepreneurs for building the economy, specifically the development here in Mindanao.”

CSR is a business approach that contributes to sustainable development by delivering economic, social and environmental benefits for all stakeholders. IDC, on the other hand, is a green and mixed-use building developer who started its roots here in Cagayan de Oro City with its flagship project, Primavera Residences. Moreover, IDC is a committed to sustainable development in harmony with the environment to bring value to investors, end-users, and the community as a whole.

“To be part of a sustainable development in promoting environmental advocacies is not just rewarding but also a testimony that Cagayan de Oro’s progress still goes hand in hand with nature,” Gisselle Mantilla, IDC’s Admin Officer at that time, said.

Beyond the green advocacies, IDC has also been actively participating in the fulfillment of the human potential through several Brigada Eskwelas and joining hand-in-hand with the City Social Welfare Development’s (CSWD) activities, namely: the Early Christmas for the benefit of Home for Girls, Christmas with the Residential care for the Elderly and Differently Abled, Weekend with the CSWD Boystown, Weekend with the CSWD Tahanan ng Kabataan, Weekend with the CSWD Home for Street Children.

Just recently, in line with the celebration of the 33rd International Coastal Clean-up Day, Italpinas Development Corporation (IDC) along with Damiani Property Management & Services Inc. (DPMSI) recently conducted their Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) last September 29, 2018, at Zone 1, Bonbon, Cagayan de Oro City. “Countless coastal clean-up drives have already been conducted here in our locality, but IDC is the first one to actually clean up this specific area where most attention is needed. We, as volunteers, cannot do this alone that’s why we deeply express our sincere gratitude to IDC,” said Ronie Paasa, one of the volunteers during the CSR who is also the Deputized Peace Warden and President of the local Fisherfolk Community.

It is IDC’s pride to be one of the very few companies that conduct CSRs on a monthly basis, as it is also the company’s way of sharing and giving back to the community. “We believe in bringing smiles regularly through our CSR programs. Through these activities, we devote ourselves to reaching out and giving people even from the simplest reasons to smile,” said Clara Marie Elizaga, Director for Corporate Affairs.
