Creating a Legacy of Service with IDC

The success of a nation is not only relying it’s of economic or natural resources but it relies more in the kind and quality of the wealth of its children and youth. It is they who will be the creators and shapers our nation’s future.

For less than a decade of implementing its advocacy, Italpinas Development Corporation once again hosted community services as their monthly charity to the local community in partnership with Cagayan de Oro City Social Welfare and Development Center and Institutions Division Livelihood Program.

Last April 20, 2018, IDC visited the CSWD Mother Theresa Center at Upper Puerto, Cagayan de Oro City. During the activity IDC shared it’s blessings with the children by conducting games, prizes and giveaways. This activity was in partnership with Damiani Property Management and Services, Inc., the official leasing and property management of IDC’s Primavera projects.

“Participating in this event had opened our eyes to what the community really needs. The experience was a little bit tiring; however, the smiles of our co-employees especially the laughter of the children during the activity faded that away,” said Maricar Panes, IDC Sales Coordinator

IDC had been partnering with CSWD since its very first community engagement in CDO with the aim of cultivating awareness, not only to the participant but also to the community. IDC is fully aware that the real future lies in the hands of these children. This is in sync with the company’s goal to promote sustainable development. And they prioritize in making sure that these young individuals will be the next builders of our community.

“Children are considered future builders of the nation. They may become doctors, engineers, scientist, teachers, politicians etc. and have to shoulder all kinds of responsibilities. They will have to take the country on the track to progress and prosperity.” said Levi Adrian Rodrigo, IDC Graphic Designer

IDC is a leader in promoting green advocacy in Cagayan de Oro. Both projects of IDC, Primavera Residences, and Primavera City, won the International Property Awards for Best Mixed-use Development in the Philippines. With its dedication to smart and passive green developments, Primavera Residences garnered the distinction of being the First Completed Condominium Project in East Asia to be given an EDGE (Excellence in Design For Greater Efficiencies), a global green certificate by IFC World Bank.
