More than 100 residents at Brgy. Batinay in Lumbia, Cagayan de Oro enjoyed free massage and haircut. Some of them who are senior citizens were given free eyeglasses, while the children were provided with free meals. This Initiative was made possible by MASA Foundation in collaboration with Primavera City, Department of Social Welfare and Development and other organizations, last August 10, 2017.

“When assistance comes from the heart, it goes a long way. Participating in a worthwhile activity like this means a lot us and to the people we are helping. Because of that, we are glad that we are able to partner with MASA Foundation and other organizations for this successful community event.” said Clara Elizaga, Vice President for Sales and Marketing of Italpinas Development Corporation, the developer of Primavera City.
Airen Aim Pelonio, a staff of IDC, also gave thanks to the participating organizations who made the activity possible. “We are hoping that we will be partnering more with MASA and other groups who share the same goals with us,” she added.
MASA Foundation has been active in conducting community services since 2012. Mr. Roland Delfin, who founded the organization, said that MASA is mainly funded through the earnings of his business and is having no formal sponsorships outside. This is why the valued clients of his business play a big role in all of the organization’s community services.

IDC has been actively supporting community programs for the past eight (8) years, partnering with various civic organizations and foundations.
