In order to promote sustainable management of the environment in Brgy. Indahag, a far-flung community in Cagayan de Oro City, green builder in Northern Mindanao, Italpinas Development Corp. recently participated in the tree planting activity led by the Philippine Air Force Tactical Operations Group 10 (PAF-TOG 10).
“IDC is a company that builds sustainable developments. As part of our core values, we uphold our green advocacy that can help in bringing the community together in achieving environmental protection, “ says Ms. Clara Elizaga, Vice President for Sales and Marketing of Italpinas.
The tree planting activity took place last July 15, 2017, together with ACDI Multipurpose Cooperative, and Damiani Property Management and Services, Inc., the official leasing and property management of IDC’s Primavera projects in the city.

“Partaking in a tree planting such as this promotes green activism in making others aware of how important environmental protection is, especially nowadays. The activity is an overwhelming experience as it is not only participated by the government agencies but also private sectors, Damiani for example”, says Gabby Atienza, Executive Assistant for Primavera Sales-Executive Office.
“We are coming up with more community services to be conducted in Cagayan de Oro City. We are looking forward to coordinating with PAF-TOG 10 in our future programs as they have been our partners in conducting worthwhile activities,” added Ms. Rubi Ong-Bieri, Executive Officer of Primavera Sales Office and Damiani Property Management and Services, Inc.
Italpinas has been partnering with PAF-TOG 10 since it developed its first project, Primavera Residences in the City of Golden Friendship. PAF-TOG led community events including the Mangrove Planting at Brgy. Punta, Bonbon, and the Brigada Eskwela conducted in far-flung elementary schools in the city, to name a few.
Italpinas has been a leading green advocator in Cagayan de Oro. Both projects of IDC, Primavera Residences and Primavera City, won the International Property Awards for Best Mixed-use Development in the Philippines. With its dedication to smart and passive green developments, Primavera Residences garnered the distinction of being the First Completed Condominium Project in East Asia to be given an EDGE (Excellence in Design For Greater Efficiencies), a global green certificate by IFC World Bank.
