10,000 trees: IDC 3 Years of Green Advocacy
IDC believes that tree planting is a vital key to sustainable development. Since 2017, the Cagayan de Oro IDC team, was able to plant approximately 10,000 trees composed of 7,000 mangroves and 3,000 trees.
For the past years the company had been partnering with CLENRO (Cagayan De Oro City Local Environment and Natural Resources Office) together with its sister company Damiani Property Management & Services. IDC also partnered with the Philippine Air Force, local communities and various government agencies since it started with its green advocacy in 2017.
“We never realized how far we can go, are just a 20-man team, but just made sure that we have to do a tree planting activity as our CSR every other month. We just kept on planting trees, and now we planted approximately 10,000 trees!”, said Frances Mai Galvez, Brand Manager of Italpinas Development Corporation.

“I envision a future where man and nature work in harmony. The company’s achievements and involvement in various green organizations such as the Philippine Green Building Council and US Green Building Council further attest to our commitment to being at the forefront of sustainable development in the country not just in Northern Mindanao” said Arch. Romolo V. Nati, IDC Chairman/CEO.
